Default Friday fishin' - Monroe was rollin'

Got on the water a few minutes after seven. Got on the main lake and was greeted with a beautiful morning. Thought to myself, "The weatherman was wrong!" Headed to the OPP and set up a drift out toward the middle of the lake. Had the first keeper in the boat before 7:45. Then had to wait 'till 10:30 for the second fish. By then the wind had shifted and had begun to freshen. Caught four more before the wind and waves ran me off the lake. (I guess the weatherman was correct.) Biggest (in the pic) was 12½". Still have minnows left, so I might try again tomorrow.

I think you and I were working in the same area. I was the grey Tracker. No two drifts were the same!

I believe that we were in the same area. I like to work the sign line and the area around the old power plant. Be sure to give me a shout the next time we cross paths. I'm always looking for fishing friends.

another good day at the office !
