    Default Tried to night fish

My daughter has been wanting to go night fishing for a while. Finally went out tonight right before dark and got scared off the water. No less than four big clouds down pouring all around us. You could see the rain coming down. It wasn't raining on us but really did not want to wait for dark and have one of those pop up rain clouds let go over the top of us.

But have to say. As the sun went down and it cooled off, it was real nice out there. Gonna have to try it another day.

We are caught in a weather pattern right now of 50 percent chance of thundershowers about everyday. The storms have bad bolt lightning in them. Just taking your chances if you go out now right around here. Right now I don't have to worry about that...I have three modes...working...sleeping...or too tired from working to go fishin LOL

I been down there in Florida fishin before and been chased off by them thunder boomers down there. You get some good ones.

    Keep a fishin'

Bring a headlight and see how many gators you can see.

What D said about the headlight. Their eyes reflect red. If you see some on the bank that are yellow, it might be one of our Bears.

Night fishing can be fun when it all works. One good trip will get you hooked, it's a lot easier with the heat. You might try a short trip starting after the storms lay down for the day. The lightning would keep me home.

I sure do enjoy a good night fishing trip weather it be from the comfort of a ol pontoon with generator and lights or from my nymph with 12v can style lights (much quieter). Nothing quit like seeing that bobber sink below the surface putting off a subtle glow waiting for u to snatch em up from the depths!!

I wish it would rain over here, ain't seen a drop in a month or so.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
