Thread: Grass Shrimp

Got group coming done to South Moon on the 17th and wondering if their are any grass shrimp to be had. we used to get them and catch them in Griffin when we went to Blue Heron Cove. Will be 16 of us At South Moon 17th to 21st come see me Danbo any the rest

River is warming up real good so they should be moving in or real close to getting shallow. I have not tried dipping any yet, been tipping with Berkley Maggots. Might have to put my net in the truck and stop my the park on way home and drag it through some weeds and see.

South Moon fish camp is in Astor Fl, south of lake George. Blue Heron cove,was or is still a fish camp on the ocklawaha river off HWY 42, the tail waters of lake Griffin. I think Slab is on lake Griffin. across from Nelsons fish camp.
We went thar for over 10 years and had good times even caught a fish or three.
