Seminole and Talquin Info. for April, Thanks in advance!
Heading down to Panama City the week of April 17th for vacation, struck a deal with Deb to do some fishing. Closest lakes I see are these two, and wandering about guides or boat rental information? Any info. is really appreciated. We are interested in crappie and redear. Thanks!

Contact Jarred at Lake Talquin Lodge. He can put you on the fish. They also have cabins if you wanted to stay the night. (850) 627-3822
Seminole has some nice red ear. Spots are hit and miss though.

If you want an experience other than the routine make a visit to the Fitzhugh Carter Tract at Greenhead, FL on hwy 77 north of Panama City. You will need a FL fishing license, but access to several lakes and free use of boat will fill your bill. Google...Fitzhugh Carter Tract, Greenhead, FL and you will find the brochure and info. Crappie, bream, and bass fishing.....and you really don't need a guide if you have average fishing skills. All of the lakes area small. By the way....no motors of any kind allowed... paddle power only

There are much closer lakes and rivers to PC. I would look at Deer Point.
