    Default Lake Jesup Sunday 2/21

I had a free morning so headed out on the lake with warmer weather on the forecast I was expecting the fish to be in the shallows near the grass getting ready to bed. I fished 2 hours around the southeast grass with a few bite but no fish. Tried both minnows under floats and slow trolling jigs. On the way back to the ramp I stopped by the far west lily pads because it holds fish in the winter. I wasn't there more than 5 minutes and got a fish but unfortunately I had to be somewhere so I only fished another 15 minutes and caught 3 more. All on minnows in about 3-4 feet of water. They might not be in there much longer but figured I would share the report because if the shoe was on the other foot I would want to hear as well.

Jessup's a good lake with some nice fish.... No record breakers but plenty of 12" slab's. Glad you found some.... To bad you only had a short time
