Lake Ashby 2-12-16

I got a chance to try out Lake Ashby on Friday. It was my first time to that lake. It was still cold and a little windy when we hit the lake. Water temp was 53 deg. The wind was blowing out of the south west and it picked up as the day went on. We set up and made a drift pass across the lake. Rom was on the front seat with his rods set straight down. I took the back seat and ran the rods out off the back. It was a slow morning and we talked to two other boats. Both were using minnows, we were using jigs.

Ron did better than I did but we did land 7 fish. We did better than the other boats that we talked to.
