OK, THIS IS IMPORTANT IF YOU'RE GOING TO THE EVENT. The guberment is not letting us in early like they did last time.
The folks that Griffin Lake State Park are not letting us in early. So, unlike last time, if you are launching at the state park you won't be able to get through the gate until 8am. Your other option is to go to Herlong Park (by the train), and launch there and then go to the event at the state park afterwards. Tell'em you're with Crappie.com.
I will be at the state park at 2PM with MOM and Sammich material. And the prize for BIG FISH. Show up any time thereafter (and before all the food is gone). lol
I got a site in there starting Wednesday through Monday
We will come fish but will not be able to hang around for the event. Might be able to pop in and sah hello but doubtful. We have to pick up father in law and will be quickly running out of time. We will launch at Herlong.
I'll be at the gate at 7:30..... They usually open a little early
Looks like I may be able to at least come for weigh in/hangout & bring a house gift for slabmomma.
