A piece of pvc pipe painted fluorescent orange with some reflective tape on it would be better than an iron rod...much safer if someone were to hit it and more visible too. It can be driven into the sand next to the stump.

OCH $3600, yes thats true no boat damage , as this tree was probably 1 foot under the water with no way of seeing it at all and im sure others will eventualy find it unfortunatelyQuote:

I have been across that lake sooo many times and all over the lake and never even thought about hitting something hidden underwater although i have always thought about hitting a gator and WHAMMO it finally happened,always say i need a bigger motor for my boat for more speed but 30-32 mph in my 17 footer is plenty and after this incident i dont think i need a bigger motor as ill be a lil leary to full throttle jessup at first as the thought of hitting something will always be on my mind
