    Default Orlando Area Crappie

    Looking for some help!

First vacation in over 20 years, will have about 4-5 days to spend and staying in Orlando with a friend.

Would like to get into some crappie and I know there are numerous lakes in that area.

Can anyone give me a lake to start on?

Probably starting there on the 26th. It appears that it should be warming up by then.

    Thanks in advance

Orlando is a big city, so depending on which area you have Lake Monroe, Lake Harney, Lake Jessup, Winter Park Chain(need permit),Harris Chain, Clearmont Chain, Lake Toho, and most of the small lakes and rivers around town have a population of crappie in it.

    Good Post!
My inlaws live in Orlando, every time we go down to visit (37 years now) I keep thinking I should bring along a fishing pole but don't know where to start (Father in Law never cared for fishing) so I never pursued it. With the help of this forum and helpful posts like this, next time I'm going to find a place to fish while I'm there.

To really have good time Crappie Fishing - first time - your on a short rope for
    time -
Take a guide trip - it will be well worth it...............believe me...............
Than next time down- you'l have an idea what you want to do and what you will
need to enjoy the 1 -2 days you have.
I will send you a pm on couple guides in the area - call them - don't believe you
    will be sorry.
