Have you ever fished it ???
We have looked at (FCC) over the years, but backed away - as what it has
lots of structure and other helpful things to ruin a good day.
It is not (i have told) good for people who not been on it.....and spent time on it
Hence main reason we stayed off, along with couple other lakes in Florida.

We try to look out for safety of all - regardless of their experience

I in fact have not been on these lakes any! It will be a first for me! I know a lot of folks will be in airboats fishing backwater and things of that nature!

Fact is. your are so correct about Air-boat group - must be some type reason
for this vs "Glitter, Bass Boats" Alum semi-v's etc.

What people i have talked with over the years said, "better have someone with you
that knows the area" - and or have been on it several times on scout trips.
Shallow - multi trenches (ditches some good some bad) brush - was a flooded
    field i believe. To reach it - is also a dandy of a road - "U G L Y"
i enjoy my boat/trailer & truck to much to mess with this situation. Again, just my
    thoughts -

U can fish blue cypress lake fishing813 not restricted to the stick marsh! Blue cypress best I can tell has about a 6'AD and has a lot of cypress trees and grass lines extending out into the lake! Also has two man maid fish attractors if I read correctly on Fwc

Stick marsh cant be that bad with all the high dollar bass tournaments on it. My buddy in Stuart was fishing it in his 20' Hewes Light Tackle longlining before he sold it.

Hate to be a pessimist - but if you can't gett'em to travel 35 miles from home to
FCC site - they aren't going to go that far to complete in unfamilar waters - Pay
to enter with an 80% payback. on two positions..............

I'm not begging I just threw it out there to try and get attendance up! IRCAA fights for a lot of rights and public access to diff areas of the state so it's worth 25$ to me to slide over there and support a good cause and see some diff territory!
