Thread: Few from Lochloosa

Back in Gainesville after spending the Holidays in Holmes County. Got to do some hunting and took a trip out to Lake Cassidy close to Defuniak Springs with little success.

Classes start back tomorrow so I took advantage of the cool weather to get out and see what the crappie bite is like. Fished 8-11 or so and probably boated 20 fish and released all. Didn't catch any sure enough slabs but I would say the overall quality of fish was better than my past trips to Lochloosa.

I was longlining a variety of jigs at around 1mph give or take with the wind gusts.
