A Hot Day on Henderson

The weather that is. Went Fishin on Lake Henderson at Inverness today. Caught a few nice fish but really had to work for them.
Dropped my first line in the water around 0730, fished for about an hour till I got my first bite, a GAR. About 30 min later caught my first speck, he weighed in just over a pound. I ended the day with only 8 fish with the biggest being a fat 14 1/2 in., 2lb 2oz football. All the fish were over a pound except 1 which weighed 13oz. I would give more info but I have a tournament there next week.

Good looking fish my Friend - Dave Dirt was also up there today, single pole jigging
the pads, grass line.
I won't be able to go yet - have spinal injection scheduled Wednesday.
Usually knocks crap out of me for couple days

One of these days I'll be able to put together a good stringer during a tournament to be able to give you guys some competition. Every day on the lake is a learning experience.

That Lake beat me up pretty good a couple weeks ago, nice catch, good parience!
