Specs in the river

Hey all, while I have been throwing shiners the last two days looking for Mr. Big, I have noticed tons of fish busting glass minnows on the banks. Both yesterday and today I spent a few minutes throwing a little jig and caught decent specs and fat bream. Yesterday I fished the St. John's around 44 bridge and today the Highland park run. The run was loaded with fish busting banks today.

Most of the spec fisherman I spoke with fishing Woodruff said things were real slow. Makes me wonder if the fish are more in the run. Just a thought and wondered if anyone else has found this as well. J
