Crappie USA crescent event

Has anyone seen this in the November crappie now magazine?
Looks like they are adding a event in December or January at crescent/dead lake.
Has anyone heard any rumors?

I knew of the event on Nov 28, but to see Crescent on with a tentative Date TBA is the first for me....Hope they make it happen. Glad to see Talquin on there too!!! Two of the finest lakes in FL... First I have heard of these lakes being added.There is nothing on their website about it, but they don't have a tournament scheduled for the whole month of Dec or Jan and only 1 scheduled for the end of Feb....Maybe Darrell is trying to make something happen with Talquin and Crescent.....Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!!

I have talked with CUSA via Facebook....They will not be returning to Talquin in 2016 and they are hoping to know something about Crescent in 2016 by the end of this week.

Only comment i can make is: "its all about money" If a county or organization
puts up enough money they will come in for an event.
The Nov date was part of deal they made with Volusa county - $27,000
to put on show. City of crescent nor county would match or better deal.
Note this is what i have heard in past - have not pushed to get exact answers

CUSA announced that they should know about a 2016 event on November 18.....The meeting was supposed to be last week and got pushed back a couple of weeks so maybe that's a good thing......We'll see!!!!!

I know what you mean...We are trying to put together a Get Together and can't do it until we know their date, but most of us are flexible. The lake is plenty big enough for us all, but rather not be out there during a tournament.
