Met up with the man at breakfast time for the mosquitos. Launched the boat under watchful eye of Mister Alligator. After seeing we were doing it correctly he eased himself out of sight into the dark water. Wind was calm to start with and we put 4 in the cooler. I had three on a bait called a Bleu Cheese that Harold McGhee introduced me to about three years ago. We had caught a lot of fish on that bait. Anyhoo the Man started searching his box for one he had, to no avail. We old guys tend not to remember where we put stuff and find it later when we no longer need it. After about 1.5 hours the wind was makeing itself known by blowing us around and makeing boat control difficult. We had run into a lull in catching so the Man went looking through his box again and found a feather jig of the same collors as the Bleu Cheese, that was misplaced from some earlier time only to be discovered this morning. Anyway he tied it on wth a cappie nibble and started catching all kinds of bass and crappie. That gator was back at the ramp when we got back and I think he was looking for the Man's jig. Anyway we kept 10 and had great day thanks to the Man
