I had only fished Harney 1 time about 15 years ago with snother guy in his boat. Made arrangements to meet at ramp and he led the way to the lake. Laid down a good track for future to get through the mouths tricky spot. We were on the water and fishing by 7 and moved once to find cooperative fish. Bite all but dwindled by 9:45 so I headed to thank Jeff again and he threw me his take. I ended with 8 going home and 1 toss back. Jeff musta been the same cause I had 17 fish to clean. All looked like copies at 11"-14". Great day but got hot quick.

Temps sre the same. Bait the same. Fish activity the same. Just not as onery on Harney. Really saw no difference except they was biting on Harney. Wish I knew the answer.Originally Posted by Speckanator

It was certainly a pleasure to be O-T-W with ya today Mike, they were not on-fire, but as the saying goes "It beats work any day", I finished at 12:30 & picked up 10 more on that East side, good scouting for next time. That guy I talked to you about in the blue Gheenoe was darn near on the bank on the East side & picking them off.
