Anybody Crappie fishing Okeechobee?

Too far south for me to know anything, but you should find some locals down there to put you on some. Hope enjoy your stay!

I saw a report on another forum with reports of good catches single poling the sawgrass. Fishin813 might be along with some local knowledge from fcc guys.

not that familiar with southend of lake -
Most of us fish up closer and in the Kissimmee river
Kings bar - Tin House Cove - Indian Prairie Canal.

Water temp will determine a lot this time of year on the Big O,

Work the rim canal - shady areas early and late just before darkness,
they come in to reeds, kissimmee & sawgrass at night to feed - exit in early am
prior to sun up.

Found them about a month ago in rim canal where their putting new lock in west of dynamite holes.
