Thread: Getting There

Well I am looking to be on track to have all the honey doos and repairs done in time for the EPIC bite coming mid September. I ain't spent near as much at the new Academy as I have Home Depot and Lowes, but I have for sure been liking the new Academy. Getting pretty well stocked up lil by lil. Stopped by the river the other day for a quick look and very slow to no movement down by Blue Springs. Sure hope we start getting some steady rains to get the river back up and flowing again. Anyway, yall have fun out there, I will keep smashing my fingers with a hammer, least I ain't cut none off yet. See yall shortly on the water.

Glad to hear you're seeing daylight.....my list just keeps getting longer and the heat keeps me taking too many breaks I joke about being retired and free to fish anytime but that ain't necessarily accurate. I'm with you on getting some rain especially around rice rocket's area to get the river flowing again. Gonna be camping and trying some scalloping around the end of August and then start getting my stuff ready for a Monroe pig hunt. See ya out there!

We have been camping a few times. Went to Manatee Hammock over the 4th and headed to Ft Desoto first part of August. Made a trip for Memorial day to Chassawitzka river Campground, that was a very interesting trip. That boat ramp in the campground was very entertaining. Even had locals showing up twice daily just for the show. Ya gotta make that venture some time.
