Thread: Lochloosa 5-8-15

With finals over, I took a fellow classmate out fishing today on Lake Lochloosa.

Fished 9:15-2:30. We trolled jigs out in open water from 8-11ft. There was no shortage of catching today as we prob caught 50 or so. Only kept 9 with any size to them. I had a good fish that would have went 1 1/2lb that spit the jig beside the boat. Fish weren't too picky on colors today as there was a bright sunny sky and not even a cloud to hide from the sun occasionally.

I'm interested to see what size 7-fish bag will win the tournament out here on Saturday. I don't expect more than a 10lb bag.

I will say this is a much improved trip comparing to last week. I think we did better because it was sunny and not as windy.
