Fished the honey holes in the river this morning....my arm got tired of bringing em in....then the wind showed up as usual and they stopped. Didn't find any beds...looks like they're staging.....water still a tad bit cold maybe.

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"Speckanator LIKED above post
If you look directly over the seat...you'll see a low hanging oak over the water....good place to fish!!![]()

Going for them in the morning was catching sheepshead today, rotten little bait stealers, but sooo good to eat.
Hope to catch a few as nice as that one...............

Great looking gill!! I've fed my wife and kids a bunch of those in years past,I had the inside straight on where they were at the time. 6 to 18 in a 2 hour drift and back in time for dinner after work. That was fun.

That's a nice copperhead bream for sure. We have them up here in the Panhandle but not in all rivers and lakes. Those things grow huge. Shellcrackers up here are not yet bedding but will soon. Water temp is 69/70. The bite is steadily improving by the day. Here is a 31 catch from yesterday of gills and shellcrackers from the Choctawhatchee River.
