Despite the weather on Crescent, which im becoming used too, we managed to catch some nice fish, 2 of which were over 2lb and 2 very close, all of which were given a kiss and returned to bite another day. We did have the pleasure of meeting the Crappie King, And Queen on the water, and I must say the name fits them WELL. It was nice getting their thoughts about Crescent and some of the manageable issues that I think we all share in regards to the increasing pressure on the lake. I'm all in for supporting any efforts to preserve this Beautiful, Pristine, one in a million Crappie Lake. Keep a Tight Line.

Glad to hear you practice the preservation of the species..... Those two pound plus fish may be three pounds next year.... Imagine the thrill of catching one of those!

I love it when someone reports a great catch and release report.

Crappie Queen and I had a great time for 3 hours yesterday. We had to leave early due to other commitments. It was nice seeing you and your buddy Dan, glad you had a great time also. We had our last hurrah and was not disappointed. Eileen caught the best fish for the day a beautiful 2lb8ozer, in all we boated 3 two plus pounders and several just an ounce or two under. Went again today, got there around 11am and the bite was very slow. We did catch some good fish but nothing like yesterday. I guess the front shut them down. Good lord willing we will be back next December.

Very nice fish Vic, I had a great time fishin with you this year. Glad you were able to make it to some of the FL slabfest/slabtogether events while you were here.
Safe travels & take this cold, windy weather back with youHope to see ya'll next year, you should come down in November instead of Dec.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
