    Default tarpon lake foggy morning

Fished out of Anderson park. Fished 9am-1pm. Foggy and calm wind to start. Later becoming ssw wind 5-10. Always try to try with the wind. Longline trolled all the northwest and north part of lake in 9-11 fow. Water temp 64. Air temp started in the 60's warming to 70's by afternoon. Became partly cloudy by afternoon. Had good action trolling 1.0-1.3 mph. Fish were only 1-2 ft below surface to start out. Caught about 50 and kept 25 between 10 and 13 1/2 inches. This trip caught half the fish on double jigs rigs and half on beetlespin. Best colors were chartruese, black and blue. There were a fair amount of fishin boats out and was checked by fish and wildlife for creel census data. Grateful for another fun day on Tarpon. Good luck.
