Never caught an Oscar. The ones you catch, do they survive? Non native should not be returned to water.

Never have caught myself Ron, only been told they are slimy and good eating,
but sure make a mess of things when trying to filet. Mostly they are caught in
various canals around the Miami - Lauderdale area as are the Peacock Bass which
is one devil of fighting fish. Don't know anything about whether they are good to
eat or not........

Whats the difference between an Oscar ans a Chichild or are they the same?
