Lake Marian?

Any reports, I know its been a tuff February for most lakes but wondering if any body has been over to Marian.

If you are speaking of Lake Marian in Kenansville I was there 3 weeks ago and it was dead. I think in anout two weeks (near the full moon) it should be good. Fish shallow, close to the weeds/grass. We did very good last year about this time.

Wish I could delay it a week but were going down week after next maybe will get lucky.

I would thing week after next should be close enough. As anywhere, look for the gaggle of boats. Probably 6 feet of water or less.

If nothing is doing on Marian just up the road you can try Canoe Creek, Have had decent luck there in years past in Feb. and March.

I am glad I am not leaving right now there calling for a foot of snow and south of us 1/2 inch of Ice, plus snow. morning we leave its suppose to be 12 below. Burrrrrr

Be glad to be out of this for at least a week, be something as long as I can make it down, might get stranded down there and have to stay. Wife may not be happy but I sure would be.
Will keep that other lake in mind . Much appreciated to both of you.
