Off all next week and will be heading to the big O. A little change up for what I usually try, will be pushing the wally marshall double rigs. Anybody use these down south here?

Not sure where you are headed but I have had luck in late Feb. early March pushing in the river. Twice this month we had better luck in the lake single poling in 4' limited out every time. You can PM me for more info.

Going out of Slims south end, back around in rim to lake on east side. Were you fishing in grass when you were single poling?

Well got out Tuesday weather was supposed to be 10/15, well man was it rough. Winds were around 20 plus and a heck of chop temp was 49, no way I could push anything. Started single poling as I turned circles, something happened to motor called it a day after catching four. Met someone from Miami that comes to the southend when crappie are biting, also has a Tracker. he caught two so I gave him mine so someone could stink a pan.

We are headed down to Clewiston last week of March. Hope the weather settles down some. We had problems with wind last year so we fished the canals for Oscars and had a ball with them. Must have cleaned a zillion, felt like it anyway.
Hope the weather improves for you.

My buddy that lives there has been catching them by Bird Island. Big ones too.
