I curious as to why a lake would NEED a draw down and what the benefits are?

Crescent is going to be like Talquin in a few years if they keep taking as many fish out like they do now. Just my 2 cents worth.:twocents

Question: what is the life expectancy of a white and black crappie if not caught and swimming in normally good conditions for a crappie???
