Lake Crescent information

The BASS College Southern Regional tournament is headed to Crescent Lake January 3-5. Should be about 100 boats. Just a heads up. I am the sponsor of one of the clubs and plan on crappie fishing as they chase the green carp. Expect prefishing starting on about Monday or Tuesday.

I talked with Anchor Man last night and he told me that all fishing at Crescent was postponed until further notice!!!

So that's a bass tournament I guess and shouldn't affect speck fishing on crescent...sounds like one of the sponsors are going to fish for specks while the college fish for bass or am I reading it wrong....run that by me one more again

The tournament is being held out of dead lake but expect 99% of the boats to run across Cresent and up dunns creek into the river. So lots of boat action. I was at the UF bass fishing meeting when they discussed this.
