Great day everyone. I'm solo ready to see fish as they not in my yard
Looks like another good time was had by all....Nice fish!!!:cheers2
What a great day to be out on the water! Add a few friends and now you have the makings of another small blessing :)
I cant even begin to express how excited I am about fishing any lake in the St Johns river system this year. Monroe, Harney, Crescent all seem to me producing larger average fish then 3-4 years prior? maybe its just me but I'm convinced this winter is going to be a banner year.
Thanks to everyone who managed to find the time to hang out a bit and enjoy a wonderful day on the water with us. We always very much appreciate your support and camaraderie.
As far as the details...... due to some weed debris I went with pushing tipped zip jigs single lines, and caught most .4 to .6 mph in 10-14 fow. Blue / Pink / white all seeming to be preferred.
Awesome looking fish this year. Pappy had a PIG! and John had that sweet Black as night male........
all in all, we all did well and everyone Im sure enjoyed the day out on the water.
Thanks to Mike and John for their continued fest efforts, you are both appreciated very much.
Got home in time for a quick nap and a Seminole WIN!!
All in all a very blessed day indeed!
Looking forward to seeing you all at next months slabtogether at Monroe, and you KNOW we will all be seeing each other out at CRESCENT :)
Ahhhhhh the stinking hot summer is over..............let the slab hunting begin!

What a toad (I'm talking about the crappie)!
That fish looks like it came out of the Dark Ages. A cat that lived through all it's nine lives. What a battle hardened beauty.
Is the area marked from the ramp to the Lake . ??? RR
From SR46 the run to Harney is not marked, it curves back forth & with the high water you wanna know the right way to go. When you get to lake you will
wanna stay east/northeast before turnin out into the lake since there is a sandbar on the left. There used to be white poles markin it but with the high water I only saw
1 showing at this time.
If you put in at Lemon Bluff, the river is marked well & goes right to the lake but it's prolly a 10-20 min boat ride depending on motor size.
Thats what I thought , No marking lol , Is there a ramp off 46 near Lemon Bluff ?? Have done some bass Fishing from Mullet Park area , long run to Harney tho. RR
Lemon Bluff ramp is off SR415 at the end of Lemon Bluff Rd, fairly close to Mullet Lake Park - prolly better to use Mullet Lake if coming from 95 or the
ramp at 46 - if ya have a decent GPS you should make it ok or get there early & follow the crowd to the lake
LOL thats what I'll do , follow the leader and hope they know where they are and make sure it a heavy Boat ! RR
