    Default Alumacraft PF170

One of my friends from PA. Is thinking of purchasing a 2006 Alumacraft PF170. Anyone have one or fished out of one, what did you think of the boat? Do you know if it has an aluminum or wood floor? I think the 2007 year has an aluminum floor, but don't know about the 2006.
He wants to purchase it and bring it along down in January so the four of us have a boat with a little more room to fish out of, my boat is a little crowded with four people fishing out of it.
    Any opinions?

If it has wood floors and is solid no worries. If soft he will know steppin on it. But have no experience with the boat.

Like I said, it fished great but if I was running down the lake with more than a little chop on the water, I would get wet. I used to keep my Frog Toggs in the boat just for that reason. The boat you are asking about is a lot newer model than the one I had so it has probably been re-designed. Just my

He went and picked up a new Classic 165, 1200lb. Capacity wide and stable. 80lb. Thrust Terova i-pilot, vinyl floor etc.... Etc... I think he's cranked up for this years trip to Florida. Thanks for the input.
