    Default Four hours-four fish

Friday I took off work to take my wife to the doctor in the morning. By the time we got home it was around noon and I had a meeting at 7PM to go to. I looked at the weather and looked at my boat sitting there calling my name! I calculated that if I stayed close to the house I could have about 4 hours to fish before I had to load up and drive home. So off I went to the creek! I started trolling where I knew there were some deep holes. About that time the traffic picked up and you would have thought it was a boat parade!! I puled in all my rods and went up under the bridge and anchored thinking I could at least catch some shell crackers with the time I had left. As soon as I felt the weight on my line hit bottom on the first cast I felt a thump not a pull like a shelly but a thump! I reeled in a 12" speck! That was the only speck I caught but I kept 3 nice shell crackers to go with it. I had to leave or I would have fished till dark. I asked my wife to take a picture with her new smart phone so I could post some pics but I guess the phone is too smart she can't figure out how to e-mail them to my work computer! We lost our technical advisors when my son moved to Pensacola and took my granddaughters with him!!
