The Fishin on griffin might be few and far between but I've seen a few of these here in the last couple weeks. Did good today, two times my normal limit. One big crappie and one small one. And I was only out there an hour or so.

Oh I forgot to mention. This one was actually fat. Most all the fish I catch here are skinny. This one was fat. Almost as fat as a crescent crappie. I don't know if it was a male or female, cause I released it. I assume it was a fat female as I did catch it out and away from shore in about seven ft of water.

Hey, you keep catching big slabs like that and you're going to give people the wrong impression about Lake Griffin.

    Nice fish Slab !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
