Here is the only picture I got from my Crescent trip. My wife sent me this picture while I was fishing Crescent last Sunday! (Sorry for off-topic post) These guys were house-shopping I suppose. Had to share because we thought it was so cool to get these guys in our backyard.

The picture is a male and female bluebird! The female is peeking out from inside the box. The robins must already be leaving here to migrate back up North. I still see the robins here too.

Had a couple pairs around my neighborhood last two years. Hope they're still here. Do you get many Humming birds?

I do get the ruby-throated humming bird, but they never stay more than one day at a time. Hoping they'll stick around this year...planted some goodies for them!

We have a nesting pair of Bluebirds in our backyard in a house my Granddaughter and I made, just makes it better. We get several hummers every year, keeping several feeders a ways apart helps keep em interested. If they're close there seems to be one male that wants to dominate them all. Had a hummer fly into the neighbors back room 2 years ago in July when Camryn was here and it couldn't figure out why it couldn't fly through the glass. She spoke in a soft voice, walked over and picked it up, and released it outside like she did it every day. Special memories........

Sounds like an amazing backyard Skeetbum! My goal is to get the hummers to spend more time with me and my kids in the backyard.
