Default State effort to improve Griffin

They really seem to be doing everything they can to improve the fishery on Griffin. They put a size limit on the Crappie of 10 inches last year, and this year they are putting out all sorts of structure.

We got tangled up big time in this mess. Oops. It wasn't there the day before, but at least I know exactly where it's at now.

And I have to tell you, almost every time I'm out I get surveyed by them about how long I've been fishing, and how may I've caught. Very nice folks btw.

Yep, we only had one crank out, and sho nuf, it was the one that caught that fish.

I thought I'd try out one of those Crappie Cranks from our new sponsor Arkie Lures. And it worked! We even had it on a planer board (one of those mini's from our other sponsor Off Shore Tackle). Heck, we are throwing everything we have at this lake to see what sticks. We don't have a pattern yet! A little of this, a little of that, and a lot of nothing for the most part!

Looks great fellars, that place needs all the help it can get !
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
