A Place To Fish
I am 2 years behind a triple by-pass and doing well. It is time to load up my truck camper and hook up the boat and catch some crappie.
I would like for you folks to direct me to a good lake that has a place for my truck camper and I can find some crappie. I would like to stay about a month. Maybe a couple weeks here and move to another lake. Is it to late to make this trip this year?? I really don't know the best time to make this trip, however I do know it is time to go somewhere. Thanks for any help!!!!

Never to late to fish for Crappie, they eat year round............winter-summer-spring &
fall.
Central Florida has excellant State Parks (Kissimmee state Park)
Leesburg, Fl has exellant park at Lake Griffin. Just about all lakes in both of
these area's are producing nice Crappie...........
C.d.C slabfest is on for this comming Saturday the 15th. But several members in
the Mount Dora, Leesburg area will be more than happy to assist you in having a good
time in this part of Florida

I second Lake Kissimmee State Park, and Camp Mack also in the same area, same lake... It's not to late for minnow dipping, actually it's just starting to pick up for the next month or two...
