    Default Howdy

Here in Deland with the Daughter and family for a few days. Going to try to fish with a friend Wednesday for a while and don't know what's going on, where to look. Any hints would be fine. Read a little about the fish moving shallow so I might go up Dexter/Astor way. Don't think his boat is rigged enough to go trolling on Crescent or Monroe but might do that anyway. Weather is great. I hooked up a trailer in southern KY last week in -10. I like this better. Thanks all, and I wish I had my own boat and more time. New(to me) pickup had no hitch and the one I bought online didn't come with all the hardware to mount it, should be there when I get home. Like to meet y'all one of these days......Skeet

drag some bobbers in Monroe if you're not set up for trolling and you'll do fine....good luck and enjoy the weather

Yep......The west and north side between the manatee markers and shore in 5 to 6 fow.......unless they're grouped up somewhere else, then just jump in and load the boat.

If I were going back I would fish the river above Monroe. You can catch fish right out in front of the little plant just as you go under the bridge along with the many deep bends throughout the river. The lake has plenty of fish, just not the bigger ones IMO.
