    Default Griffin is on fire

Holy Cow, I went fishing and we caught three crappie. One for each of us. Heck, two were even legal size!

We caught one an hour. That's better than I've ever done here in open water. Springtime pads is another story, I think I have gotten two an hour once!

And just a baby. Shows you the lake is on the rebound. Just wait till this one and a couple hundred of his brothers get bigger in a few years and this lake will be hopping!

Fishing Griffin is very relaxing. Plenty of time to snack and text.

But I do have to say, Griffin has some nice shell crackers. The boys really enjoyed catching a bunch of them the night before. Even laid into a couple hump heads like the one pictured above. Now that's what we're talking about.

No fish were harmed in the making of this post. All wildlife were promptly returned to the water to grow the heck up! Someday, hopefully soon, those Crappie will become real Crappie.

Great report Ed, so nice to see the young men out there with you. Also proud of you for returning all fish back to grow up some more.

Man that last one is a monster . Slab you are going to have to enforce a no cell phone in the boat rule . Of course adults over 21 are exempted . And get them some boiled goobers to eat
