We just got here around 3:30 this afternoon and I went out to get some rods set up for tomorrow. I was in the middle of the lake setting up my rods and taking all the heavy jigs off. As I took each rod and changed it over I threw it out and trolled with it. I was on my last rod when a fish hit, I landed it and it was a nice 12" fish. Shortly after another and than another. I had caught 4 in a matter of minutes. The best part is that two of them were 2 lbs or more. One was right at 2lbs and the bigger one was 2lbs4ozs. What a start to a 15 day stay at Crescent, I'm pumped.

I've heard great things about crescent! Some big ole pigskin there and I hear it's clean....fish for days with a light wire hook...not minutes like the lumberyard!!!! Gotta get that way soon....right after some ark duck bustin!!!!

Well I did not have my camera this A.M. to take pictures of the whitecaps......I know the 2 pounders are hiding under them. You left lots of fish (Guess they were throwbacks), if only the wind will stop blowing will send you a picture before long......
