    Default Lake Harney Pre-fishing

Looks like the only break in the wind next week will be Thursday.....so I'm headed to Harney to check things out. That is if I don't have to work ....oh,,,,, that's right I don't have a job!

    Sorry Andy!

Tried yesterday morning & weather guesser was RIGHT, on the water at 7am, caught 6 by 7:30 & was isolated to the east side due to the wind, then wind died down, over-cast, & I thought it was ON, only to be followed by the Front, Rain, & Wind= calm before the storm/end of story, promising to see a few on the east side.

Yep, same here, trolled Beresford for the first half hour, zip... Saw the front coming and headed to the river for the rest of the day. Did you get off the lake before it got too gusty?? Is the river coming down any at Harney?? It's coming down some up here but still too high for my liking.

Just in time Andy, thought it might blow over quick, but with the cool air behind it I figured they shut down anyways. The river seems ok, maybe a little above normal, however, there's a nice back-eddy across from that area I"ve seen you fish before, don't know if that's bad or good

We'll be goin this weekend to prefish, prolly Sunday.
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

It's still there Went to Monroe instead cause one of the other geezers couldn't go and I didn't really want to go scouting by myself. But did lower the water level in Monroe by 41"
