Just fished one of the local lakes. I was out again Saturday with my son and caught some real nice croaker on the York river. See you all in December.
Cool. We haven't been fishing much either but did rent a canoe and floated down the Shenandoah. It was a 7 mile trip and only took 3 1/2 hours and we hardly paddled. If we do it again we will do the full day trip because it was so beautiful and relaxing and fun. The weird thing is being able to swim with Princess with us in the water and not worry about alligators... :-) Plus the water is crystal clear it was so cool to see the rocks and the striations in them made by the rushing water over all these years. There were some great noodling type holes (if you were into noodling... lol) that we could see as we floated over all the rocks. And we could see fish galore... big fish, small fish, you name it.Quote:

Anyways, Terry can not work Sundays due to city code (yay!!) so next Sunday we are going to rent a john boat with a trolling motor at Germantown Lake and try trolling for some crappie... lol. It's only a 100 acre lake but they said they catch crappie there during the spawn.
Glad you got to go fishing!!! Don't work that shoulder too hard.
