The jigs made by litewirehooker are the best I've personally ever used and that includes any made or sold by the major retailers. They are very well made and sharp and the paint won't come off like some I've used. You can't go wrong by buying these jigs.

X2....Litewirehooker makes jig heads with lightwire hooks plus jig heads that aren't lightwire hooks. Either way, he makes a quality product. Plus he has round heads, tri-heads and Pony's (which are jig heads with a spinning blade on them) in an assortment of sizes and colors at a very reasonable price. Can't go wrong using his product. It's the only jig head I fish with no matter what lake I am on...Just my

(Wonder if that will get me some freebies???)

I use mostly Big Bite heads from Bass Pro and Roadrunners. I gotta work on the Litewirehooks, I cant get my grubs on em without bending them all to heck. Know lots love em but they give me fits. Not saying they are bad just aint got the finesse tactic of threading my grubs on yet I reckon. But they are needle sharp.

If they are soft plastic I don't know how you are bending the hook putting the grub on there. probably need to just have an experienced panfisherman show you how.

Litewire jigs when your fishing a real hangy area and regular, stronger jighead when you don't have to worry about hang ups. No sense and risking a fish bending off unless you have to.......there is a place for both styles. The litewire jigs can be used all the time if you prefer though, you may go 3 or 4 trips without bending a fish off but the one time that you do will make you sick. I bent off a fish that I know weighed over 2.5lbs at Crescent last year right at the boat, I thought I was going to vomit. No worse feeling than losing a fish at the boat, looking at the jigheads and seeing your hook bent almost completely straight
