Lake Crescent Fish Resort/Camps Help
Can anyone assist me with Lake Crescent fish camp options? I have located only one in Leonard's Landing(lake crescent resort) in Crescent City, FL. Is this a good one to spend a weekend or are there other/better options?
FYI, I've never fished this lake before, so any info would be appreciated.

SYG, we are trying for mid-December for a couple of nights. Do you think the lake crescent resort area will be accessible to some good crappie fishing? I live a couple of hours away and have been wanting to try this lake for awhile now. We definitely want a motel/cabin option too.

I think Georgia Boys fish camp has cabins for rent. They are located on dunns creek which runs into Crescent. If you stay there you can fish the river and lake easily. There are also alot of people that stop by and you will get some decent reports. Me and Daspeckhunter will be there Dec 10th for the Florida Crappie Club Classic, if you go down after that i will gove you a report on how things were.

Read the reviews on Leonards landing before you book it. We stayed there in our RV and everything was good. Don't know about the cabins, but the reviews may help you. Georgia Boys is pretty popular with fishermen.

Im not sure about how the fishing is in Dunns Creek for sure. I have never fished in the actual creek, i have fished the mouth and all the docks on the west shorline by the creek. Crescent is a bad lake when the wind is up and almost unfishable. If you stay at Georgia boys you can fish the lake if its a good day and if its windy you can just stay in the creek and not have to worry about braving the waves.
