    Default Fished Lake Monroe today

I Fished Lake Monroe today and caught 4 fish in all. The wind was just about not there today. And the temp was as very warm most of the day. Caught about 1 an hour but even though the fishing was slow I was still able to have enough for dinner tonight. After docking and pulling the boat out of the water I met “Fly Caster” for the first time. It was very nice meeting him and hope you all do great next weekend.

Not even that good here........ after about 4 hours and two moves I had two. Wind and water were perfect and I was ready to load the boat.

Glad you were able to find a few at Monroe...I am just surprised Flycaster didn't make you release those 4 fish tho....He usually makes folks catch and release fish at Monroe 4 weeks prior to the Talquin Throwdown...They gonna need all the help they can get come Throwdown Day. It's good to know the old guy is starting to lighten up some....But beware if you meet Speckletater Specktacularless, 64Pacer or PHATom409...They get real irratable!!!

All of the SLABS that I caught I released, with a bobber hooked in the upper lip. Now all I have to do is find the bobbers again and I will know where all of the fish are congregating. Like shooting fish in a barrel.

I am looking forward to meeting you all in the future. Yes TNT, I just said hi and bye quickly so no one could think “wait I need them fish for later”. BTW, now I know what all those bobbers were for in the front of your boat flycaster. Speckanator, I saw you there but you were gone before I pulled my boat up. You guys are hard to miss with them great Crappie.com fish stickers. All 4 fish were caught on different formats.
    1 Bare hook and minnow
2 Jig with green curly tail
3 Bare jig head with minnow
4 Jig with pink and white skirt
All from spider rigging. Pulled two corks about 30 feet in back of boat but nothing came of it.

Thanks for the update. If you guys are hungry I hear they are always biting at Talquin. I am sure Tim or Curtis will feed you.
