    Default Some quality fish

Hi all, I fished lake Marion and Multrie in South carolina with my buddy Ernie this week for 4 days. The bite was very slow and not many fish were caught. The fish that were caught were quality fish. We had 6 well over 2 pounds but could not find that 3 pounder I'm looking for. All fish were caught tight lining in 7' to 10' FOW, 6' to 8' feet down. The water temps were good at 52 to 54.The winds blew very hard and we could not fish some spots we wanted too. A good time was had and we will return to these lakes again, they are 6 hours from home so when we go we have to plan at least 4 days.

That good old Florida weather has got me spoiled and I'm having a hard time in colder weather.

    My friend Ernie

Holy Smokes!!! Now those are some serious quality fish for certain. That one appears to be pushing easy over two and a half pounds. Man, that is exciting stuff. Thx for sharing your pics Vic.

Nice fish, good quality right there
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
