Hey Gun you been speck fishing on Santee Cooper? I used to drive by that lake a lot going up to Fayetteville and always wondered about it. I know it's good for bass and cats. It would make sense.Quote:

I grew up fishing Santee, the last time I speck fished it was last year after I drove up to SC to fish the CrappieUSA tournament. That was a good weekend, came in 2nd in the tournament that Saturday and caught my biggest speck ever at Santee the next day, along with the limit. There have been 2 tournaments at Santee over the last month. The first one it took 17.9 lbs for 7 fish to win it, the one last weekend took 23lbs to win it for 10 fish............it's a heck of a lake. It feels good knowing in about a year I will be moving back to SC permanently and will get to fish Santee on a weekly basis......hog heavenQuote:
