    Default Presidents Day Weekend

Well we went to Monroe for the first time. To those who gave us advice thanks. We stayed at the Lake Monroe park which was really nice. Nice camping site, clean bathrooms, HOT WATER thank goodness, and nice boat ramps. We went out into the channel as directed, there were other boats as predicted, but no fish to speak of. Temps were down and wind was up. We had a good time anyway just me and my two sons, but would really have liked to catch some fish.
Lake is really a beaut, but sure can get rough with 20-25 mph winds. We caught 10 over the two days, a couple of good ones which I'll be glad to put up pictures of as soon as I figure out how to do it. Was going to Newnans this morning but 22 degrees and light wind and fishing just don't mix well.

Great fish for a windy weekend or any other weekend for that matter.

Wow, I think you did well considering the inclimate weather. Thx for sharing your report.

Nice report, very brave to go out in that weather
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
