Were you just longlinin around Dunns Creek?
Yes, but not real close to shore. We were in 10-12 fow most of the time with 5 poles off the back of the boat let out real far (not sure how far that is but Terry always complains about how far I let the lines out when he's reeling in a fish... Lol. We didn't use any particular color although they did seem to bite better on darker body with some white or chartreuse thrown in on the head or tail but the old light blue silvery one got some hits too. Roadrunners didn't do as well... Maybe because it wasn't so sunny so didn't catch the sparkle. Who knows. We want to go try out dead lake. The north end is too far from the boat ramp.

Pic showed up just fine...Very Nice Fish!!!!!
Thanks, nice pic - it showed up good.
I have fished Cresent a few times & never caught a bunch but good quality fish.
We have always fished the North & East side & had good luck.
Tried the South & around the island before & nothing.
A friend of mine used to live about 1 mile from Dead Lake & he did good but always said he would only go if the wind was out of the South.:dono
Just got another update from Terry (and yes I'm working hard... :-)... He is in Dead Lake now, said there are about 20 boats there and he is catching some fish and caught one almost 16". He didn't send a weight on it yet.
I would rather be fishing!
