    Default Crescent Lake report....

Terry and I went to Crescent Lake today. Got to the ramp about 730. Morning was nice, not much wind and we headed to the north end. Trolled for a few hours and caught some pretty good ones. Wind shut us down by 1130 so we headed back against the wind and waves and it was a rough, long ride back. With some of those tiny dark colored bouys that mark the crab traps, we both kept an eye out for bouys so we wouldnt hit them. I wouldn't want to be out there going with any kind of speed in the dark.

Anyways, we ended up keeping the following....

    15" - 1lb, 9 oz
    14.5" - 1lb 9 oz
    14.75" - 1lb 8oz
    15" - 1 lb 7oz
    14" - 1lb 4oz

Plus another handful of slightly smaller ones. Pics to follow in a bit. We are having fried fish tonight and saving the rest to bring to the next slab fest.

It was a fun day fishing with my best friend... :-). And fun to try out a new lake. Oh, and we thought we did pretty good, but on the way out we saw Russ and he got a couple of two pounders.... Wow!!

I've been eating them only grilled for a while so having them fried tonight is going to be a treat! Then after tonight no more fried until slabfest day.
