What's with this lake griffin. I think there only a couple fish in that lake. I went out this mornin caught one, this one:
Then I had lunch, and went back out caught one more:
Two days ago, I fished with just jigs, no miners. And I caught nothing (I take that back, I caught one that got off boat side). That was kinda the first time out.
Today I used minners and at least caught something.
I shoulda just went back to Monroe. Oh well, I'm bound and determined, I'll figure out this lake yet. If you know me, I don't need to go out and catch a mess, I just need to catch a few to be happy. Heck, wifey don't eat fish anyway!

You have to kinda sneak up on them, Lake Griffin don't get GOOD until you can see your breath and the wind is whistling.--shu

If ya go to Monroe hide them pank fishing poles. Them Specks dont like em!! Ask my daughter. Gotta leave hers at home for her to catch fish.
Nice lookin fish!
Pank.... That's a Cajun word... ? Or maybe just a southern word... Lol.

At least you was fishin, I was workin. Hey , the weather is a little better here then in n Illinois don't ya think????
Got it. I've was suspicious of all the feathers and boas and beads in the jig tying section myself. That along with all those pank and purple and rainbow colored jigs made me,wonder at first.... Lol. But once I saw how many fish you can catch with all that I understood it was all very manly. Terry can tie some real purty jigs... feathery and sparkly and they sure do catch fish. Don't tell him I told you all that... Lol.
