    Gotta keep yer guard up even selling boats. This guy was a regular poster on another forum and very boisterous(lets say), but dang!!

    this why when i sell anything on graigslist i will meet the person away from my home and in a public place!!!!only people that would come to my home would be crappie.com members!!!you have be careful now days there are alot of IDIOTS out there!!!!

    This happened in New Smyrna right near the inlet, a friend of mine knows the guy that was selling the boat. Whenever I have sold something on craigslist I met them away from my house, in public preferrably somewhere that has cameras & always carry my own protection.

    It's a good thing this guy happened to have a knife in his pocket and the instinct to use it...They say practice makes perfect, so if there is a next time, he can call the coroner instead of 911...That $10,000 bail sounds mighty low for a thief like that!!!!
