Here's the deal...my fishing calendar shows the specks turned on in Monroe the last week of September last year and the year before it was the second week of September, so with that being said I plan to hit pretty regular starting the second week. It's great to be there when they turn on. One day you'll catch 5 to 7 then bam you're bringing in double digits in just a few hours and it gets better each day. By the crappiepalooza on October 13th they should be bending three or four poles at once. Hope to see you out there.
